Clinic Nurse Job Scope:

• Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices and infection control policies. Maintains an environment conductive to patient safety.
• Superior customer service and patient care skills.
• Replenish supplies through out clinic.
• Monitor patient flow within the department.
• Projects a positive, professional attitude through both verbal and non-verbal communications in all interactions.
• Responds within the scope of the support role to emergent situation, as directed by supervisor.
• Must have the ability to work independently and think critically to problem solve.
• Must have knowledge of windows based computer programs and the capacity for learning specialized software programs.
• Examines specimens for unacceptability and takes appropriate actions.
• Set up cash drawer and operates cash register as needed.
• Answers telephone, takes messages and relays information as needed.
• Always informs Charge Nurse/ Nurse Manager when leaving the department.

Hospital Aide Job Scope:

• Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices and infection control policies. Maintains an environment conductive to patient safety.
• Monitor patient flow within the department.
• Follow dietitian's instruction on any patient requests.
• Deliver and pick up patient select menu for the next day at the nurses station.
• Prepares menus correctly. Put menus in order for tray lines to run.
• Delivers food carts to patients care unit.
• Recognizes problems and assumes responsibility for helping to solve them when they occur.
• Communicates observations of residents condition, preventing residents neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
• Cleans patient room and other assigned areas daily, which may include, but is not limited to collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, stocking needed, supplies and sanitizing all surface.
• Perform clerical functions such as patient chart assembly, as necessary.
• Responds within the scope of the support role to emergent situation, as directed by supervisor.
• Night shift is responsible for helping other staff with closing the kitchen.
• Always informs Charge Nurse/ Nurse Manager when leaving the department.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM
• Candidates with or without experience will be considered
• Must be able to read and understand simple English.
