Job Goal:

• To ensure management of Inspector Of Work (IOW) portion of the projects acquired to be delivered on time and budget.
• To ensure quality of works are to clients satisfaction according to technical specification.
• To ensure safety aspects of works are recognized and according to client’s requirement.

You will play an important role to:

• Responsible as Consultant's Inspector of Work at project sites to execute, coordinate and monitor the quality of the site construction works of TNB substation (switchyard/building)(Client: TNB)
• To assist the project team of engineers/project managers in the implementation, monitoring, and control of the quality of the project.
• To monitor closely and take prompt action on drawing/documents discrepancies and liaise with the project team/consultant to resolve all arising technical issues
• To monitor and control the quality of works by the sub-contractors, in-house team, supplier's quality of materials delivered to ensure the efficiency of the works to the highest level in accordance to the drawings and specifications
• Responsible and ensuring in preparing and maintaining all site reports/project documents in good order at all time
• To update and verify all as built technical drawings in good form

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2 years of working experience as IOW In civil construction or infrastructure project.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong project management skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to provide solution for problem solving. At least 2 years of working experience to be eligible for RAA training requirement.
