Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As an AP & AR Assurance Analyst you will support the specific language requirements and you will be working closely with a group of professional supporting Global AP & AR Assurance team within Global Finance Organization.

As an AP & AR Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that revenue accruals and actual are prepared in line with Baker Hughes policy, standard processes and accounting rules and conventions.

• Performing revenue validations to ensure all revenue recognised as per Revenue Recognition Policy.

• Including journal preparation & reviews of month end adjustments. Accruals/ other adjustments as required.

• Ensuring the related costs of revenue and other associated accounting entries are correctly posted with complete supporting documents.

• Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ etc).

• Have 3-4 years working in Accounting and finance.

• Have experience in revenue recognition and assurance is an added advantage.

• Have knowledge in ERP and MS office skills will be an added advantage.

• Able to stay longer hours during the close to cover American time zone. (Night shift during month close-compensated by night shift allowance).

• Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
