Jawatan Kosong Safety & Health Officer SHO Lbn in Labuan

Position is for an oil & gas company, under contract

Location – LABUAN F.T.

1. Responsibilities and accountabilities:-

• Responsible to oversee and manage the safety aspects of the work and CONTRACTOR’s resources.
• Monitor the safety performance of his personnel and to ensure that WORKS comply with the COMPANY and/or COMPANY’s HSE Rules and Regulations and Safety Procedures.
• Ensure that equipment, tools, vehicles, electrical appurtenances, work methods, platforms/scaffolds, and others not limited to the above mentioned is in good condition, installed, applied, and used correctly, in line with safe and good engineering practice and in compliance with OPU HSE Rules and Regulations.
• Participate actively in HSE meeting and update the COMPANY HSE Department throughout the execution period.

2. Qualifications/Requirements:-

• Obtained registration with DOSH
• Possess relevant certification in Industrial Safety from a recognized national authority, e.g. NIOSH or equivalent
• 8 years overall working experiences in oil and gas facilities with minimum 4 years of which will be experience as a certified SHO in a similar environment.
• Experienced in working in PETRONAS facility & familiar with PETRONAS HSE system i.e. PTW, ZETO Rules etc.
• Attended necessary training and possess valid certificate to assume position as SHO.
• Valid Oil & Gas Industry Safety Passport (OGSP)

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• as a certified SHO in a similar environment.: 4 years (Required)
• oil and gas facilities: 8 years (Required)
