Jawatan Kosong Senior Technical Analyst in Kuala Lumpur

PART 1: JOB PURPOSE

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining critical technical solutions to support the Group Risk team. The incumbent will work closely with Data Architects and application vendors to ensure optimal system performance and provide technical expertise throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position is integral in maintaining and enhancing the organization's risk management applications to support business objectives.

PART 2: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & OUTCOMES

• System Design and Development
• Collaborate with Data Architects to design and enhance database structures and modify technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and deploy complex programs to meet user requirements and system development goals.
• Application Maintenance and Support
• Ensure efficient performance of RDMS, Retail Applications, and ETL processes.
• Provide timely resolution of development and production issues, engaging with vendors when required.
• Testing and Quality Assurance
• Develop test plans, scripts, and execute test cases to ensure system reliability.
• Support user testing by addressing queries and feedback promptly.
• Data Integration
• Perform Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) of data.
• Implement error-handling techniques and optimize ETL flows for enhanced performance.
• Project Support
• Assist Project Managers in ensuring all SDLC deliverables are completed as per standards.
• Provide comprehensive system analysis to investigate and resolve issues effectively.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement
• Liaise with application vendors for system issue resolution and performance improvements.
• Communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders to align system objectives with business goals.

PART 3: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, SPECIFIC SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Education:

• A minimum of a tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica or equivalent ETL tools.
• Exposure to Moody’s RAY Credit Risk systems and Unix command-line operations is an advantage.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications in Informatica, PL/SQL, or risk management systems are preferred.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Expertise in ETL tools like Informatica.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Familiarity with Moody’s Risk Authority is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in system documentation, including architectural and process flow diagrams.
• Ability to lead system implementations across all SDLC phases.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of credit scoring and risk management systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business policies and objectives.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
