Job Overview:
As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our members and visitors. You will assist in the daily operations of the toy library, support customer inquiries, and ensure a seamless experience for families exploring our toy collection and play arena.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist members and visitors with enthusiasm, providing information about our toy library and play arena. Answer questions and guide families in selecting toys based on their needs.
Toy Management: Help with the organization, cleaning, and maintenance of toys and play areas. Ensure all toys are in good condition, properly categorized, and ready for loan.
Membership Assistance: Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and inquiries. Facilitate the borrowing process and maintain accurate records of toy loans.
Event Support: Assist in organizing and setting up workshops, events, and play sessions. Engage with families during events and help facilitate activities.
Transaction Handling: Process transactions accurately, handle cash, and maintain the register. Prepare daily sales reports as needed.
Community Engagement: Promote a positive atmosphere, encourage family interaction, and foster community relationships. Share information about upcoming events and initiatives.
Contents Creation and Posting: Planning and designing contents for social medias to engage with audiences and build a community.
Qualifications:
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer service.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or working with children is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and capable of multitasking in a busy setting.
