Why does this job exist and why is it critical? The position is accountable for supporting the financial accounting and account receivable function on the technology division. What are you accountable for?

• Working with business users to ensure all WIP balances are timely, completely and accurately capitalised thereby enabling timely depreciation of the assets.
• Long outstanding WIP are timely investigated and closed with root cause identified to avoid future occurrence;
• To assist in the closing of monthly WIP accounts for management reporting
• To assist in performing asset verification procedures in accordance with the current policy, prepare finding for review and provide recommendations to initiate corrective actions
• To provide financial advice/input and support the Business/Support Units on all financial related queries to ensure compliance to company’s policy and procedures.
• Undertake any other assignments / projects that may be assigned from time to time.

What do you need to have for this role?

• 1 Year Fixed Term Contract role.
• Bachelors Degree/Diploma : Accounting Major
• Total Work Experience: 1 to 3 years
• Total Relevant Experience: 1 to 3 years in accounting and capex reporting.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Sound understanding of Malaysian FRS accounting standards
• Attention to details, strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• SAP experience preferred.
• Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, A self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and A team player
