Jawatan Kosong Maintenance Technician in Bukit Mertajam

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on machinery, equipment, building systems, and facilities. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and maintain a productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, electrical equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or maintenance requests.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery or systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance workshop and surrounding areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, CMMS software).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or be on-call if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
