Auxiliary Police Officer (APO)
Location: Changi Airport, Singapore

About the Role

As an Auxiliary Police Officer (APO) at Changi Airport, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft. Your role will include protecting valuable airline assets and responding to potential security threats. You will also perform ad-hoc security duties critical to maintaining Singapore’s reputation for safety in aviation.

Key Responsibilities

Frontline Security Services

• Provide dedicated security services for airlines and maintain a visible, authoritative presence.
• Deter and respond swiftly to security threats, contributing to a safe travel environment.

Aircraft and Passenger Protection

• Safeguard modern aircraft fleets and ensure passengers' safety throughout their journey.

Ad-Hoc Security Duties

• Protect other vital installations across Singapore and secure airlines’ assets from potential threats.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SPM with 3 credits or higher.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Strong observational skills and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to meet the annual IPPT (Individual Physical Proficiency Test) standards.
• Ability to distinguish colors for work-related purposes.
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous.
