Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
• Position Title: Construction Worker/General Worker
• Working Location: Sembawang/Island Wide
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday 9 AM – 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM)
• Salary Package: Salary $1,000 per month (hourly basis) + OT
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
• Assist in loading and unloading building materials and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
• Dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials.
• Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers.
• Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Assist in the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and frames.
• Perform minor repairs on existing structures.

• Minimum NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus.
• Has knowledge in electrical is advantageous.
• Ability to operate a variety of tools and machinery.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

• Knowledge of basic safety regulations and procedures.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
