Jawatan Kosong Finance Manager Accountant in Kuching

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, compile, and analyze financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with accepted standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Implement and maintain accounting control procedures.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly.
• Implement budgetary and control processes and assist business unit heads in developing budgets.
• Manage and support budget and forecast activities.
• Ensure compliance with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri requirements.
• Implement effective tax planning.
• Maintain and secure financial databases with regular data backups.
• Prepare for and coordinate financial audits.
• Accurately record and analyze revenues and expenses.
• Advise on business operations, including revenue and expenditure trends.
• Recommend efficient use of resources and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise subordinates.

Qualification:

• Accounting degree or equivalent (CPA or Malaysian Institute of CPA is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems management, budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis, auditing, and taxation.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, economic principles, auditing practices, applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with ERP software is preferred).
• Experience in the automotive industry (sales and servicing of vehicles) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
