Continuous Improvement (CI) Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Continuous Improvement (CI) department. The intern will be involved in Lean and Six Sigma optimization initiatives and support improvement projects across the manufacturing site. This includes exposure to methodologies such as DMAIC, SMED, 5S, and Standard Work.

Key responsibilities include assisting with data collection and analysis, preparing process maps, supporting project coordination, and developing reports to track progress and results.

Requirements:

• Internship for Diploma/Degree students in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willing to learn and participate in hands-on plant operations
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is an added advantage
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working with data, reports, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eager to learn about continuous improvement, process optimization, and production operations
• Able to participate in on-ground activities (e.g., Gemba walks, time studies, process observations)
• Internship duration: 3 months and above (preferred)
