Position : Project Manager
Location: Klang, Selangor (Based in Indonesia)

Responsibilities:

• To have overall authority and responsibility for the planning, execution and control of all works in the project from inception to completion within the specified time frame and budget, without sacrifice to quality.

• Establish, review and control the detailed work program, project budget and costing, resource planning at timely intervals to ensure project performance. Where possible, to introduce value engineering to enhance project performance.

• Adhere to Company’s integrated management system, policies and procedures and ensure adherence of project team members to the same.

• Ensure hands on approach to coordinate all support services and activities on site. From detailed work plan, to direct services to ensure proper and timely selection and delivery of materials.

• Conduct and attend meetings with Clients, Consultants and all other relevant parties.

• Regularly review progress on project and sub-contractor performance, and initiate preventive and remedial actions to maintain project on schedule.

• Responsible for all commercial and contractual decisions eg. Variation Orders and Extension of Time.

• Ensure progress claims are presented and collected in timely manner and final project accounts closed out in timely manner.

• Responsible for accurate evaluation of sub-contractor and supplier claims.

• Responsible for timely reporting.

• Liaise with all relevant government agencies and statutory bodies in relation to all related matters, and ensure timely compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.

• Guide, counsel, motivate and develop subordinates.

• The above is not all inclusive. Responsibilities include any other duties as and when instructed.

Requirements:

• Possess Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and other educational will be consider, subject to related working experience.

• Able to handle Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• Minimum 8 years working experience on project site, minimum 4 years in managerial capacity and experience in sewage reticulation pipe work.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Ability to access, analyse and evaluate data.

• Must have problem solving abilities and know how to priorities options.

• Good personality, communication, interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure & fast track. adaptable to dynamic change and ISO practice environment.

• Willing to work at night and overtime when required to suit the need of the work.

• Must be a team player, proactive and resourceful.

• Highly self-discipline and self-motivated and willing to accept outstation posting and work at night.

• Experience in pipe jacking and infra projects or have experience involves large scale infrastructure ( ex: LRT/MRT, Highway, Flood Mitigation project and road upgrading works & etc.)
