Jawatan Kosong Logistics Specialist in Petaling Jaya

You will control finished goods delivery to clients, to ensure on time in full availability of finished goods at client’s site. You will control transfer RM and FG among PPG’s Plant and outsource warehouse. You will be reporting directly to Transportation and Distribution Manager for SEA

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reports showing transportation costs on precise project and moves.

• Conduct physical cataloging, warehousing, inventorying, material control coordination and date entry assisting different supply activities.

• Analyze program effectiveness, suggest and work on time improvements and corrective actions.

• Investigate inventory divergence, resolve issues and update database to replicate property movement .

• Present inventory distribution of warehouse according to standardized program.

• Maintain control and ensure regulation to all import and export processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and oversee everyday operations according to standard procedures.

• Assist to obtain all required import permits and export licenses for all process.

• Coordinate with Commercial Business and Procurement ,supply planning to establish and efficient export classification and prepare tariff schedule.

• Provide an organized interface with freight forwarders and administer all freight logistics and provide optimal level of customer services and resolve all shipment issue.

• Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with customer brokers to provide clearance of all imports and maintain required document.

• Perform audit on all import and export files on regular basis.

• Monitor and provide response to all custom inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance .

Qualifications

• You are required to have minimum 3-5 Years in logistic, Inventory control and Project / Oracle /SAP Knowledge.

• Knowledge on Warehouse management, 3PL warehouse control, DG Transportation.

• The incumbent must have strong and good communication skills.
