• Assist in measuring and estimating quantities for construction projects.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
• Participate in the procurement process and supplier negotiations.
• Support the administration of construction contracts, including monitoring progress and managing variations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Help in tracking project costs and ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Assist in preparing interim and final valuations for projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in preparing site reports and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation and correspondence.
• Assist in preparing regular reports on project status and cost performance.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant software, e.g., AutoCAD is a plus.
