Jawatan Kosong Software Engineer- data analytics located in Malacca in Subang Jaya

Job Title: Software Engineer (Data Analytics)

Industry: Machinery & Automation

Location: Melaka

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications for advanced data analytics for equipment performance optimization and predictive maintenance.
• Define and implement data analytics methods.
• Define and implement data integration (data transformation, data pipeline).
• Design and implement web based data visualization & reporting.
• Continuous product improvement.
• Work in interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering / Computer science or equivalent field.
• 3 or more years of experience in agile software development in the area of data engineering & analytics, preferable in the industrial & automation sector.
• Experience in AI / machine learning framework, e.g. Scikit-learn, PyTorch
• Experience in Web development.
• Programming skills in JavaScript / Typescript (on Node.js) and in Python.
• Familiar with cloud computing & micro service architecture.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in:

o Linux & Windows OS

o Docker container technology

o Database technology

o Scripting language

o Data visualization

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Well organized, strong engineering problem solving methodology.
• Team player with good working attitude and communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel internationally as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Subang Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Agile Software Development: 3 years (Preferred)
• data engineering & analytics: 3 years (Preferred)
• javascript/typescript: 2 years (Preferred)
• Python: 2 years (Preferred)
