Jawatan Kosong Construction Manager in Kuching

Construction Manager (To be stationed full time on site for the project)

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up a detailed construction schedule and sequence based on the approved Project Execution Plan;
• Resource Management;
• Contract deliverables and management;
• Accountable for QA/QC management and quality control on site;
• Monitoring of construction work progress and resolve daily site issues;
• Management of construction material and procurement;
• Lead construction interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines and sub-contractors;
• Site documents and correspondence management; and
• Conduct site meeting regularly and attend monthly progress and HSSE Committee meetings
• Ensuring all HSSE activities according to the HSE and Security Management Plan are correctly implemented.

Professional Qualifications and Experiences

• Must be directly employed by the Sarawak Bumiputera Business Entity;
• Preference shall be given to Sarawak Bumiputera personnel;
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, preferably with further education in Project Management;
• At least 8 years' experience in projects similar to the scope of the works;
• Proven experience in leading and integrating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams;
• Familiar with Malaysia's JKR specification, Standard Code of Practice & Regulations;
• Familiar with local authorities & permitting requirements for commencement of works at site;
• Familiar with construction site hazards & safety, health & environmental requirement; and
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
