Warehouse Driver & Storekeeper – Job Responsibilities

Warehouse Driver Responsibilities

• Transport goods between warehouse, suppliers, and customers safely and on time
• Load and unload materials, ensuring correct handling and minimal damage
• Verify delivery items against invoices, delivery notes, and dispatch documents
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and assigned delivery routes
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, tires, brakes, lights)
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report mechanical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage

Storekeeper Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products
• Store goods properly according to warehouse layout and safety standards
• Issue materials as per authorized requests and maintain stock accuracy
• Maintain inventory records using manual or computerized systems
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits
• Identify damaged, expired, or slow-moving items and report to management
• Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the warehouse
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices where applicable

Skills & Requirements

• Valid driving license type D
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
• Ability to lift and move goods safely
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer skills will be an added advantage
