Position Overview:

Accenture's Industry X is seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant with deep domain expertise in Digital Engineering and PLM space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, system integration, and combined with hands-on experience in product development. This role demands a professional who deliver transformative solutions, support Digital Engineering & PLM Consulting Manager in project delivery, business development and mentor junior colleagues. The primary industry focus will be on Semiconductor, Automotive, MedTech, Industrial and Battery industries. The position is based in Malaysia, and a proven track record in Southeast Asia is crucial.

A digital native with in-depth knowledge of Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. A good functional expert and Consulting is your superpower, but you’ve also got the skills and vision to understand how to make a client’s project successful from the start. What satisfies you? Planning, designing, and building complex digital products that work like a dream. You’re as good with people as you are with tech, and sharing your work with team members is second nature. Thinking from business perspective than solving problem through an IT change.

The work

• Take ownership of complex projects, serving as the technical and subject matter expert
• Work with Consulting manager to drive the digital Initiatives in the Engineering & PLM space.
• Work on business development, responding to proposals, building whitepapers and actively contribute to campaigns in Digital Engineering & PLM space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements as per the project needs.
• Participate in building process and technical documentation where required, conduct knowledge sharing/training sessions in Digital Engineering & PLM space.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLM and other relevant technologies.
• Coach members of your workstream teams, sharing skills and motivation as needed

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in delivering consulting services in Digital Engineering & PLM Space.
• Hands on experience in design, build, and configure applications where required to meet business process and application requirements using COTS PLM Solutions (Ex: Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DExperience, PTC Windchill).
• Experience in working with product development domain like mechanical, Software, electronics and hardware.
• Hands on experience in configuring solutions for the PLM capabilities not limited to BOM, Product Structure, Part master Management, Technology Management, ALM, Master Data Management and Digital Twin and Thread space.
• In-depth understanding of Product Data Management and ability to drive Product Journey with capabilities in defining PLM Roadmap, Process Design, Value Realization and PLM Maturity Assessment areas
• Experience in Master/Material Data Management and Data Migration Tools and solutions that meet our clients’ needs in innovative ways.
• Expert in PLM, Process Excellence, Functional Solutioning, Solution designing, Data Governance, Digital Transformations and shaping end to end Engineering Transformations based on the PLM package/preferred technologies include SAP PLM, Dassault, Siemens but also Windchill, Oracle Agile, ARAS
