This role is responsible for managing daily payment transactions and ensuring accuracy in processing, reconciliation, and records. It involves resolving payment discrepancies, improving system efficiencies, supporting audits, and handling finance-related tasks or projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Payments Specialists handle daily transaction processes, ensuring all payments are accurately processed, recorded, and reconciled.
• Work closely with operations and related entities in accounting and operational matters.
• Address discrepancies or errors in payments, implementing corrections when necessary.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review payment data from third-party partners.
• Improve payment procedures and systems for better efficiency and security
• Assist with audits, including internal and external audits
• Participate in process improvement projects
• Undertake any other finance-related matters or ad-hoc projects

What we look for in a candidate

• Minimum 2-3 years working experience
• Degree in accountancy or finance-related field
• ACCA / CPA certification will be a plus
• Knowledge of accounting software XERO will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as being a strong team player
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
