Job Details
Position: Ambulance Crew (Medical Assistant / Staff Nurse)
Salary: RM1,800 – RM1,950
Working Days: 6 working days, 1 rest day on weekdays (alternate)
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (shift-based)
Location: No. 60G, Persiaran 65C, Perkeliling Business Center, 53000 Kuala Lumpur
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Ambulance Crew to provide pre-hospital medical care and patient support during emergency and non-emergency ambulance services.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, providing first aid, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safe transport to medical facilities.
This position is suitable for individuals who are physically fit, emotionally resilient, and committed to helping others in critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Provide pre-hospital medical care and first aid during emergency and non-emergency calls
2) Assess patient conditions and perform appropriate medical interventions according to protocols
3) Assist in safely lifting, transferring, and securing patients onto stretchers and into the ambulance
4) Monitor vital signs and provide continuous patient care during transport
5) Communicate patient information clearly to hospitals, dispatch, and medical teams
6) Operate and maintain medical equipment such as oxygen units, monitors, and defibrillators
7) Ensure infection control and cleanliness of ambulance and medical equipment after each case
8) Complete accurate patient care reports and medical documentation
9) Work closely with the Emergency Vehicle Operator to ensure safe and efficient transport
10) Maintain professionalism, patient confidentiality, and emotional support for patients and families
Requirements
1) Minimum SPM, Diploma in Nursing, Medical Assistant, or related field is an advantage
2) Physically fit and able to handle patient lifting and long standing hours
3) Responsible, disciplined, and team-oriented
4) No criminal record and medically fit for duty
