Jawatan Kosong Part Controller Proton Jalan Larut Georgetown in George Town

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part Controller to manage the inventory, ordering, and distribution of automotive parts for our service department. The Part Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring that parts are available for vehicle repairs, stock is maintained efficiently, and parts usage is well-documented and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables using the inventory system (DMS/ERP).

• Ordering & Receiving:

Place orders for required parts based on service forecasts or customer orders, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.

• Issuance of Parts:

Issue parts to technicians based on job sheets/work orders promptly to avoid service delays.

• Stock Control:

Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper storage and labeling of parts to prevent damage or loss.

• Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with Proton parts suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of parts.

• Documentation & Reporting:

Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the system and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

• Cost Control:

Monitor part usage and wastage to control costs and improve profitability.

• Compliance & SOPs:

Ensure compliance with manufacturer and company SOPs, including warranty returns, part recalls, and safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
