Job Description:

The GDL Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, and authorized personnel to the work place, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations. The driver will also assist in vehicle maintenance, route planning, and ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safe Transportation

• Safely transport staff to and from the school according to the assigned schedule.
• Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols, including seatbelt usage and proper behavior.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school transportation policies.
• 2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Compliance
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or required maintenance to the administrator.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle at all times.

3. Route Planning & Time Management

• Follow designated school routes and schedules, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Plan efficient routes to avoid delays caused by traffic congestion.
• Adjust routes as needed based on school activities or weather conditions.

Working Hours: Shift Based

Education: High School diploma

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to safety.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
