Work you’ll do

• Providing indirect tax services to a range of clients working closely with multi-disciplinary tax teams
• Assisting generally with indirect tax opportunities
• Working within and supporting teams
• You will be fully supported by senior members of the team and you will be able to draw on junior resources as necessary
• Working with clients to identify opportunities to improve their Indirect tax compliance
• Working with clients to implement arrangements to reduce their overall exposure to GST and Customs
• Helping to advise clients on all indirect tax issues
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues internally and externally and with clients
• Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information
• Contributing to client service teams, helping ensure they function smoothly and effectively
• Works in a cooperative, respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community

Requirements

• Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting and Law or equivalent
• Must possess Professional Accounting Qualification, otherwise you are required to pursue one professional accounting qualification and complete within three years
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
