Jawatan Kosong Crop Supervisor in Kuala Kangsar

Brief Description of responsibilities and tasks:

1) Execute and Manage the Agronomy of trials

• Plan the trials in terms of layout and season
• Take care of the crop with good agronomy practices
• Follow the crop specific agronomy as per the trial requirement
• Maintain the trial to have a good observations and timely selections
• Maintain the records of Agronomy practices taken up for a trial.
• Close working with workers to manage the daily activities and arranging the needs
• Implement and follow the Safety and Phytosanitation with farm workers

2) Data collection in trials

• Collect the data as per the trial and crop needs
• Generate the yield data as per the data recording procedure and record the observations
• Enter the data in computer and submit to the concern trial owner as per the timelines
• Record the farm inputs management and bring the efficiency in input management

3) Farm Maintenance

• Close working with Station Manager - R&D SEA to plan the activities and general farm maintenance
• Plan and communicate trial material need and general purchases on quarterly based to get necessary approvals.
• Monthly reporting of farm activities, procurement status & Billings

4) Coordination with Breeding team

• Coordinate with breeding team for trial activity
• Facilitate for the success of seed production
• Communicate the right time and right actions for trial maintenance
• Periodical updates on trial status
