Jawatan Kosong Onshore/Offshore Piping Inspector in Johor

Join Our Team as an API 570 Piping Inspector at Pioneer Engineering Sdn Bhd!

Location: Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia

Reports to: Project Manager

About Us:

dedicated API 570 Piping Inspector to join our dynamic team and contribute to our

ongoing success.

Your Role:

As an API 570 Piping Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and

safety of onshore and offshore piping systems. Your expertise will help us maintain the

highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Piping Inspection:

• Conduct independent assessments of piping conditions at onshore plants and

offshore platforms.

• Analyze, design, and inspect piping systems to ensure compliance with international

standards.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure adherence to ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standards.

• Stay updated with statutory regulations related to inspection activities.

Technical Expertise:

• Review and prepare inspection procedures for vendors, sub-vendors, and

contractors.

• Demonstrate competence in technical report writing and presentations.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth execution of inspection tasks.

• Communicate effectively in both Malay and English, in writing and speaking.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Certification:

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Engineering or Science.

• Valid API 570 certification with relevant inspection experience.

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years of inspection experience with SPM, or one (1) year with a

Diploma in the oil and gas industry, including offshore/onshore site experience.

Skills:

• ASNT/PCN Level II certification or equivalent in NDT.

• Strong knowledge of Fitness for Service (FFS) and technical report writing.

• Ability to work independently with high initiative.
