Position Title: Business Manager

Industry: Manufacturing (FMCG)

Location: Rawang, Selangor.

Job Responsibilities

• Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
• Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specification and requirement; appraising new products ideas and/ or product or packaging changes.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Provides source data for product line communications by defying product marketing communication objectives.
• Obtains product market share by working with the Head of Marketing Department to develop product sales strategies.
• Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field sales people and evaluating sales call results.
• Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
• Facility inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
• Bring new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return on investment (ROI) analysis; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
• Introduces and market new product by utilising market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customised orders.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshop; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

• At least masters in business studies / sales / management / marketing or equivalents.
• Specialised in marketing / business development or equivalent.
• Experienced in the FMCG industry.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field and position.
• Able to think strategically, resourceful, problem solving, organising and planning skill
• Strong management skill, proactive, creative and result oriented with ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and strong negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
