Location & work model: Onsite in Kuala Lumpur

Report to: Senior Engineer

As a web frontend engineer in FC Mobile, you will be working on both the game application code and web frontend code. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within a full scrum team that consist of designers, engineers, testers, product owner, and scrum master to develop features within the web ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for writing and maintaining web games and its associated features
• Understand performance implications and optimize frontend codes
• Write unit and integration tests for the web systems
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies, always finding better ways of working with QV, design, and other members within the scrum team.
• Assist the senior engineer in creating technical specifications and software architecture documents.
• Communicate with superiors promptly about the progress and risks of the project.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software engineering or equivalent course
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and object-oriented programming
• Passionate about games and game development
• Familiar with rendering libraries (e.g. PixiJS, Phaser, Three.js) — a plus
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Svelte) — a bonus
• Proactive and eager to contribute ideas to improve the product
• Has a good eye for clean design and intuitive user interactions
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow continuously
