Jawatan Kosong Building / Maintenance Technician in Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

1. General Facility Maintenance

• Attending to all electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and general maintenance works, perform basic repairs and minor carpentry or painting tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections on the building, equipment, facilities and infrastructure to ensure functionality and compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage and maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules for facility assets (e.g. air-conditioning systems, lifts, fire safety equipment).
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and monitor facility utilities usage.

2. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Assist in monitoring and supervising external service providers for repair, servicing and upkeep of building systems and equipment (e.g. fire safety, pest control, lift), ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
• Monitor and verify contractor performance and service reports.

3. Inventory & Asset Management

• Track and maintain inventory of tools, consumables, spare parts and facility assets.
• Record and update logs for maintenance work, equipment servicing and repairs.
• Support equipment relocation and furniture arrangements for moves, renovations or events.

4. Other Support

• Attending and follow up on owners/tenants’ complaints.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Ensure that all permits and licenses are current and comply with authority’s requirements.
• Record meter reading.
• Provide support to Immediate Superior in ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

• Possess minimum SPM/Certificate.
• Preferable to have Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Electrical Engineering/Civil, Plumbing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical or facilities maintenance role.
• Team player, possess good communication skills and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work on-call basis when necessary.
• Willing to work on shift.
• Possess own transport.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
