Role Purpose Statement:
To operate the Ink Kitchen / In House at Customer’s premise, ensure ink supply and support Customer’s printing activities.
Role Main Accountabilities

• Ink contract and Service Level Agreement terms are met.
• Perform color matching service and maintain blending formulation including ink swatch, wet ink & printed samples.
• Blend, QC and prepare ink as per customer requests or printing schedule.
• Proper use of Ink Dispensers, Proofing and QC equipment and apparatus.
• Inventory control – goods receiving, storage, stock count and batch number control
• Consumption forecasting and Replenishment stock order to SCM / Customer Service.
• Re-use of press return ink.
• Preventive maintenance and calibration of In House equipment.
• Ensure work place safety for In-house and rectify, take action and prevent any accident / near miss
• HSE and 5S carried out in accordance to Customer’s and Siegwerk’s standards.
• Troubleshooting for ink related printing problems and reporting to Technical Team.
• Coordinate new product trials with Customer and complete print trial reports.
• Assist to prepare monthly ink consumption and billing reports.
• Back up of ink dispensing data and keep record of production / QC records.
• Color matching, Ink Blending, QC and Inventory control roles in the In House.
• Ensure consistent ink supply as per Customer’s printing schedule.
• Integration and collaboration with Customer’s staff
• Main contact point for Customer, relationship building with Customer.
• Billing and Stock Inventory accuracy.
• No feedback from Customer on ink supply disruption and ink quality issues.
• HSE and 5S standards achieved as per standards set jointly with Customer.
• KPIs jointly set as per contract service level agreement, eg Press Return Stock, Productivity, etc

Qualification:

• High School pass in Mathematics and National Language
• Speaks and Read English and Chinese
• Computer literate including MS Excel
• Good color sense (must pass color blind test)
