Job Summary:

To coordinate the department’s sales activities, support team members through secretarial and office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage departmental documentation and filing system accurately and in a professional manner.
• To assist the Sales Manager to ensure accuracy of venues in the banquet and catering reservation book and to manage changes accordingly.
• To uncover leads for Banquet Event Order (B.E.O) involved in managing and coordinating all aspect of banquet events from planning to execute and post event follow up.
• Assist when possible, Sales Managers on related sales and marketing issues and actively involved in the sales discussion.
• Maintain and coordinate tracer sheets to monitor sales inquiries and follow up action effectively.
• Effectively manage the department’s tracing system. Create and administer the departments filing effectively. Communicate with Sales colleagues for follow-ups.
• To maintain an effective filing system for proper maintenance of all sales and marketing documentation.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management / Marketing or equivalent.
• Min 1-2 years working experience and well knowledge in Sales & Marketing Division preferably in the Hotel Industry.
• Computer literate and possess good communication and written skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well groomed, good personality and presentable, organizational, attention detail on written & high level of integrity.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team. Patient and can work long hours when needed
• Normal working hours, 5.5days/week.
