About Us: At Texas BBQ Barn, we bring the authentic "Low and Slow" Texas smokehouse experience to Malaysia. From our 22-hour smoked Prime Beef Ribs to our tender Lamb Denver Ribs, we pride ourselves on serving premium, 100% Halal-certified meats in a welcoming, barn-style setting. We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our Shah Alam team and ensure every guest leaves with a full stomach and a memorable dining experience.

Job Overview: As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations in the Shah Alam outlet. You will bridge the gap between the kitchen and the floor, ensuring smooth service, maintaining our high standards of food quality, managing staff, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring the restaurant is clean, well-stocked, and ready for service before doors open.
• Team Leadership: Guide, train, and motivate service crew. Manage weekly shift rosters, assign daily duties, and ensure the team adheres to Texas BBQ Barn’s service and grooming standards.
• Customer Experience: Act as the face of the restaurant. Greet guests, handle reservations, recommend signature items (like our Smoked Brisket or Texas Platter), and promptly resolve any customer feedback or complaints with professionalism.
• Quality Control: Liaise seamlessly with the kitchen and pitmasters to ensure food is served promptly and meets our visual and taste standards.
• Inventory & Administration: Monitor front-of-house inventory (including beverages and packaging for our Ready-To-Eat packs), assist the Outlet Manager with daily sales reporting, and ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of F&B working experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, team lead, or captain role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and on-the-spot problem-solving skills. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
• Language: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Attitude: Proactive, customer-oriented, and a genuine passion for great food!
