In this dynamic position, you will assist the Farm Management in managing daily farm activities, ensuring top-tier animal welfare, optimal productivity, and compliance with industry standards. You are driven to:

• Assist farm management to manage farm’s operations to achieve desired production output.
• Improve and enhance the efficiencies in farm production for cost control and maximise resources to meet production schedules.
• Assist the farm management to manage and monitor the team to implement various aspects of farm production, including feed management, flock health management, and housekeeping.
• Work closely with Farm Veterinarian on flock health programs to avoid the spreading of diseases and ensure consistent product quality.
• Execution of management quality policies, procedure and/or processes to ensure high standards of product quality and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team to implement and monitor farm safety, health, and environment for compliance to government regulations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities which include delegation of works, setting goals and review results.
• Prepare, monitor and analyses daily and weekly production report.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Degree or Diploma in Livestock Production, Animal Husbandry Science or any related fields.
• Min 1-year working experience in poultry farm (Layer / Broiler / Breeder).
• Passionate to work in farming environment and willing to involve in hands-on operations job.
• Demonstrate problem solving, decision making and crisis management skills.
• Possess leadership quality and able to motivate team members.
• Good in communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Successful applicants must be willing to base at farms located at Tawau OR Kota Kinabalu.
