Talk Empire Sdn Bhd or as known as Aishah Kassim Academy is a therapy centre that provides a treatment for helping children patient in variations of delay cases and or diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, GDD, and other developmental conditions across the special needs spectrum.
We are looking for GURU TADIKA PENDIDIKAN KHAS (SPECIAL NEEDS) / INTERVENTIONIST to be part of our team to helping many more children with delay cases.
Full job description
-Work with and teach children with special needs and disabilities
-Create and apply appropriate curricula and assign activities specific to each student’s abilities and needs. Teachers also involve each student’s academic, social and behavioural development.
-Teachers will assist in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student. The Individualized Education Plan is designed to develop individual goals for the student and is modified to the student’s abilities and needs.
-Teachers can work independently to review the IEP with the child’s parents. They work very closely with parents to keep them updated on progress and make recommendations to promote learning in the home. Select teaching methods and support resources to enable individual learners to maximize their potential for independent living.
Requirement:
1) Candidates must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in psychology, child development, education, or special education
2) An added advantage for those who have at least 1-year working experience in the related position
3) Preferably with working experience in the related field, however, fresh graduates passionate about teaching special needs children are welcome.
4) A positive, passionate, learning attitude is a must!
5)Prepare teaching/therapy materials according to the needs or programs.
6). Perform any other functions as and when directed by superiors.
