Job Title: Civil / Building Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Civil/Building Technician to support our engineering and construction teams in planning, designing, and executing building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will assist in preparing technical drawings, conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers and architects in developing construction plans and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret construction drawings and assist with layout and measurements on-site.
• Monitor and report on construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to specifications and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and surveys under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, materials lists, and compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support during project planning, execution, and close-out phases.
• Participate in resolving construction or design issues as they arise on site.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certification or vocational training in CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction, civil engineering, or building projects.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
