Jawatan Kosong Warehouse Assistant in Johor Bahru

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is to perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Check goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Load & Unload cargo using Pallet Jet, Stacker or Forklift.
• Data Entry & Inventory update to ERP system or tracking sheet.
• Data Entry for Shipment Tracking
• Receiving, Counting, Picking, Shelving, Storing and Retrieval of Cargo.
• Kit materials for production/project work orders.
• Filing of logistic and incoming documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on shipment schedule and delivery.
• Support monthly stock cycle counts and annual stock taking.
• Assist Supervisor to troubleshoot of inventory discrepancy.
• Prepare cargo for shipment such as palletizing, string strip, labelling etc.
• Monitor and assist the Waste Disposal according to DOE guideline.
• Assist to LMW when necessary.
• Ensure Logistics & Warehouse Equipment/Machine is in working condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping and security in the warehouse.
• Support implementation of continuous work improvement.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations laid down by the company are strictly adhered to without compromise.
• Ad-hoc duties when assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
