About the role

LM EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking a full-time Inventory cum Logistic Executive to join our team in Melaka, Melaka. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing our inventory and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day inventory management, including ordering, receiving, storing and distributing products
• Coordinating the transportation and distribution of machines/goods, liaising with logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and producing reports on stock levels, usage and turnover
• Identifying opportunities to optimize inventory and logistics processes, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align inventory and logistics with the overall business strategy
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures related to warehousing and distribution

What we're looking for

• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar inventory or logistics role, preferably within the inventory management role, transport or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including stock control, forecasting and optimization
• Proficient in using inventory management software and tools to track and analyse data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and implement process improvements
