SITE ENGINEER (BASED IN KUALA LUMPUR)

POSITION SUMMARY:

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• You will play a key role in transforming design concepts into practical, tangible structures while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan construction methods, work schedules, and site setups in coordination with relevant parties.
• Identify and arrange site requirements such as site office setup, temporary services, and manpower organization.
• Prepare plant, machinery, and material schedules for procurement and purchasing.
• Execute and monitor project activities to achieve desired cost, time, and quality targets.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
• Prepare documentation including correspondences, claims, variation orders, and progress reports.
• Track site progress and maintain accurate records of daily activities, materials, machinery usage, and costs.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Supervise, delegate, and guide site staff and subcontractors in line with project requirements.
• Ensure environmental protection and pollution prevention measures are implemented effectively.
• Verify and review construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and submit site and progress reports regularly.
• Ensure projects run smoothly and are completed within budget, timeframe, and quality expectations.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager or superior.

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision and
• coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, methods, and project management
• practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate site teams effectively.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
• Able to work independently with a high level of responsibility and initiative.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12-18 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
