Job Summary:

Are you passionate about transforming spaces into stunning, functional environments? As an Interior Designer at FRWD, you’ll have the empowerment to shape spatial planning based on your creativity and expertise. This role allows you to bring innovative concepts to life, optimizing showroom aesthetics and enhancing customer experience. You'll work closely with our sales and makeover teams, designing inspiring layouts that blend beauty with practicality. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop iconic, inspiring and marketable room concepts to attract ID and end users.
• Plan and execute retail space turnarounds using a blend of core and new products to optimize sales to target audience.
• Design and execute visual merchandising concepts that pique customers’ interest resulting in sales.
• Conduct spatial planning to ensure efficient use of showroom space while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create SKU planning strategies that align with business objectives.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D design renderings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Research and implement the latest trends in furniture design, retail layout, and consumer behavior.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including mood boards, material selections, and layout plans.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and material sourcing.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in interior design, particularly in furniture retail, showroom design, or visual merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of retail planning, visual merchandising, spatial planning, and SKU planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of other design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit) is a plus.
• Ability to create compelling 3D visualizations and technical drawings.
• Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and timelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
