Packing Operator (Packing & Filling) - Contract 6 months

Operations Ipoh Full-time Malaysia

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Packing Operator to join our team in Ipoh, Malaysia for a 6-month contract position. As a Packing Operator, you will play a crucial role in our packing and filling operations, ensuring that our products are properly packaged and ready for distribution.

• Operate packing and filling equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
• Ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products, meeting quality standards and production targets
• Perform regular quality checks on packed items to maintain high standards
• Monitor the packing line for any issues and report problems to supervisors promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols
• Collaborate with team members to optimize the packing process and improve efficiency
• Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packed items and materials used
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
• Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in operating packing and filling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Understanding of safety procedures and quality control standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg
• Previous experience in packing or production line work preferred
• Food handling certification may be required (depending on the industry)
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
• Basic math skills for accurate counting and recording of packed items
