Jawatan Kosong Planning Executive in Jempol

You are responsible coordinating and planning the construction, maintenance, and optimization of railway tracks. You are to ensure efficient track layouts, adherence to safety standards, and cost-effective planning to support the smooth operation of railway services.

Responsibility / Duties

• Assist the Project Manager in realistic overall planning, scheduling, and monitoring of site progress.
• Develop project schedules with key milestones and resource allocations.
• Update the work program progressively to meet progress requirements and coordinate with Consultants and Clients as needed.
• Establish efficient and reliable planning systems and develop relevant policies and procedures.
• Conduct resource planning, indicating resource levels based on productivity rates of resources, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
• Facilitate procurement planning by providing lists of resources and requirements, including timelines for the Procurement department, and track deliverables.
• Prepare mitigation plans in case of work delays.
• Create visual reports including S-curves and linear charts.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis and Baseline Analysis.
• Prepare weekly look-ahead programs as necessary for the project.
• Proficiently collect, compile, record, and track events crucial for Extensions of Time (EOT) and prepare comprehensive reports/submissions for EOT applications.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for Management and the Client as required.
• Develop and optimize railway track layouts to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and schedule railway track construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for track-related projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards related to track design, construction, and operation.
• Ensure that track designs and maintenance activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of track-related activities.
• Maintain accurate records, including track layouts, project plans, progress reports, and budget expenditures.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of track infrastructure to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the reporting manager, which may include participating in emergency response activities, conducting site inspections, or providing technical support to other departments.

Requirement

• Min 3 years’ experience in planning or scheduling highway or railway-related projects
• Familiarity with resource-loaded Microsoft-based programming and Primavera
• Previous experience in railway-related projects would be an advantage along with monthly report writing
• Candidate must be prepared to be based at site, accommodation or housing allowance will be provided
• Strong technical knowledge of railway track design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in track layout design software such as AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information to stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
