• Plan, coordinate, and manage the company’s financial strategy.
• Prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against approved budgets.
• Ensure sufficient funds for daily business operations.
• Control and manage cash inflows and outflows.
• Make decisions on short-term investments and working capital management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and the board.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal, and tax requirements (LHDN, SST, etc.).
• Act as the main liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Identify financial risks and develop control measures.
• Oversee internal control systems to prevent fraud and non-compliance.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage corporate financing including loans and credit facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and accounts team.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for finance staff.
• Support top management in corporate strategy and decision-making.
• Perform any other finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
