Job Summary

• To assist Senior Baker and Manager in production planning, promotion and sales planning.
• To practice cost control and prevent wastage
• Staff training staff especially those new recruits and trainees
• To ensure overall cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene of the areas such as the food production and preparation.
• To ensure staff has a high personal hygiene

Key Roles

• Ensure products are provided as per production list and to provide on time for sales
• To ensure the quality control of the pastries and breads are met and to reject any products which does not meet standard.
• To assist senior baker to plan the production list and quantity. Monitor the popularity of products and decide on ideal product mix. To reduce or stop production so as to maximize revenue and profit.
• To be more innovative and creative on new products.
• Ensure quantity of products provided are accurately provided and noted on a daily basis.
• To prepare the daily marketing list and grocery list.
• To conduct training for staff and trainees.
• To assist F&B Senior Manager in preparing for functions
• To look for supplier for update on products available.
• To ensure all ingredients are labeled.
• Ensure proper storage of all items in refrigerator and freezer
• Ensure product freshness and food safety.
• Ensure all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
• Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items.
• Ensure accurate stock supply.

Requirement and Qualifications

• Minimum SPM and above
• Have 2 to 3 years of working experience as Baker in the Food & Beverage industry
• Have experience working in healthcare environment will be advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
