Job Title: Planning Executive / Planner (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, monitor, and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Plan machine and labor allocation to optimize productivity.

Inventory & Materials Management

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (Work-In-Progress), and finished goods.
• Ensure timely replenishment to prevent stockouts or production delays.
• Track material consumption and provide updates for cost control.

Demand & Supply Coordination

• Forecast production requirements based on sales orders and historical data.
• Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to align production plans with delivery commitments.
• Identify potential bottlenecks in supply chain and production processes.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare production, inventory, and material usage reports.
• Analyze production performance and suggest process improvements.
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory turnover.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Act as the liaison between production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Communicate production plans, material shortages, or potential delays to relevant departments.
• Participate in production review meetings and provide actionable insights.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, or materials planning.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and inventory control.
