Jawatan Kosong Field Service Technician PW4 in Kangar

OBJECTIVES:

• To support daily operation and maintenance activities of solar PV plants.
• To ensure all electrical works are performed safely and in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and electrical troubleshooting for solar PV systems.
• Support engineers during shutdown, energization, and emergency works.
• Conduct site inspections for PV modules, inverters, cabling, and BOS components.
• Record and update maintenance logs, checklists, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, and company standards.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING
• Wireman (PW4)

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS (BENCHMARKING)

• Achieve plant availability of ≥ 98% annually.
• Maintain plant PR (Performance Ratio) above PR guarantee
• Complete preventive maintenance activities 100% as per schedule.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum SPM / STPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical or Renewable Energy.
• Valid Wireman PW4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) – compulsory.
• GCPV Certification is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1–3 years working experience in electrical or solar PV related field.

IMPACT OF ERROR

• Plant downtime leading to loss of energy and revenue.
• Safety hazards resulting in injury or equipment damage.
• Non-compliance with regulatory authorities affecting company reputation.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
