Jawatan Kosong Urban Farming, Horticulture Intern in Johor Bahru

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Urban Farm Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in urban agriculture, learn about sustainable farming practices, and contribute to impactful ESG projects. The intern will assist with the daily operations of our urban farms, support community engagement initiatives, and help maintain our innovative farming systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of IoT-enabled farming systems, greenhouses, and hydroponic systems.
• Participate in planting, harvesting, and general upkeep of urban farm sites.
• Collect and analyze data on plant growth, soil health, and system performance.
• Support educational workshops and events aimed at engaging corporate employees and external communities.
• Help develop and implement community outreach programs with local schools and organizations.
• Document and report on farming activities, including progress updates and project outcomes.
• Assist with research on best practices in urban farming and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Passionate about sustainable agriculture and urban farming.
• Basic understanding of IoT systems, hydroponics, and greenhouse management is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
