Requirements :

• Diploma in Medical Assistant
• Registered Medical Assistant Officer with the Ministry Of Health Malaysia

Scopes :

• Ability to assist healthcare professionals with medical examinations, procedures and other patient care. Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and performing under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
• Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
• Performing minor diagnostic tests and administering treatment under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Assisting with administration duties, including scheduling appointments, arranging laboratory services and hospital admissions, handling billing, and filing insurance claims.
• Relaying diagnostic tests and assessment results to healthcare professionals. Team worker with experience in clinical evaluation, specimen collection, and administering minor treatments.
• Guiding patients through the facility, as well as explaining procedures and treatments.
• Preparing and administering medications for patients as directed by physicians.
• Delivering compassionate support, attention and assistance to patients and families.
• Setting up and replenishing stock in examination and procedure rooms.
• Sterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas.
