About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud operations and technical support. You will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing AWS environments for multiple clients, ensuring smooth operations, security, and performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong AWS expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to delivering reliable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for AWS cloud services, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Assist with deployments, migrations, and configuration changes for client environments.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand technical requirements and provide tailored cloud solutions.
• Work with internal engineering teams and AWS support for escalations and complex issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of incidents, configurations, and system changes.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, backup policies, and disaster recovery standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud support or cloud operations.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, routing, firewall rules).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) preferred.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect – Associate, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers in a professional manner.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
