The incumbent is responsible in assisting Senior Manager on matters relating to strategic planning, the provision of business finance support to various departments, matters on accounting standards and tax legislation and assist in the planning, execution and delivery of projects as and when defined. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing review and/or assist in the preparation of feasibility studies / business case (ACR) over large spends, post implementation reviews, its tracking and monitoring. Where necessary, to explore/guide the Spend department on other options.
• Performing review of Agreements to ensure the Company’s interest is protected and related business processes contribute towards cost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in performing reviews of inter-company billings and investment related matters as well as preparation of Related Party Transaction’s Board papers.
• Performing vendor financial assessment as Finance Subject Matter.
• Assist in performing CP58 non-monetary review.
• To assist and support other operating divisions on various business initiatives with respect to financial related matters, including policy review and/or preparation.
• Assist in any projects as defined by the superior. Project may not necessarily be wholly related to finance matters.

Job Specification: Education

• Diploma/ Degree or higher in Finance – related discipline (Finance/Accounting, Economics, Mathematics/statistics,) preferred.

Key Attributes

• At least 5-6 years related experience. Preferably 1-2 years work experience in financial services industry or from audit environment.
• A numerate and analytical mind
• Understands the importance of having a balance between business processes (cost efficiency, effectiveness and control) versus business needs
• Must be meticulous with the ability to work under pressure
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work under minimum supervision
• Quick learner and able to multi-task
