We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial and Legal Officer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all NES Fircroft template contracts are drafted, maintained and used on a sound commercial and legal basis in accordance with NESF’ internal procedures and NES Fircroft Commercial risk principles. You will provide corporate and regional commercial and legal advice and support as well as personnel engagement support to offices across APAC.

You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and support the achievement of our business objectives.

• You’re able to present range of solutions in a coherent, logical and authoritative manner to enable the recipient/decision maker to understand and trust the advice or recommendation
• You can assist with regional compliance and management of external counsel in respect of litigation activities

• 3-5 years minimum relevant experience
• Professional legal qualification
• High level of analytical skills and excellent knowledge of contract law, ideally relevant to region

• Great communication skills both written and verbal
